When sailing, the Club would like you to obey the following :
Members must use the pegboard, and should only use one peg (with their name on it) at a time. The exception to the one peg rule is for any rescue boat (if present).
As the lake is busy, please remember to remove your peg as soon as you have finished sailing. Pegs remaining at the end of the day will be placed on the peg tree (above).
The transmitter aerial must be fitted with an eye protector and a frequency pennant.
To avoid the risk of collisions, a Club Rule has been made that fast electric boats must use the southwestern end of the lake (nearest the road) if there are slower boats present on the lake, the middle section is used for scale and submarines and the wildlife has the rest!
Please note that wildlife has priority over boats at all times.
In the event of a boat sinking, a local diving group are able to recover the boat. Their phone number is on the pegboard.
This may take time to arrange due to park regulations regarding swimming. If the boat belongs to a club member and sinks with no other boat involved, the first £25 of the cost will be met by the club.
